I have strong gums

it is fascinating how strong Lisette's gums are. when momma sticks her finger in (wrapped with a wet cotton wool) to clean her gums and tongue. Lisette will first suck the wet cotton. then as momma wriggles her finger in, lisette will hold it very tight with her gums.
i guess these are instinctive behaviour to ensure the survival of the human race.
sucking is the primal instinct to ensure the baby receives food. imagine a non-sucking baby, how the heck is she gonna receive nutrients... photosynthesis?
instinct #2: holding the intrusive finger tight with her gums prevents any foreign object from choking her.
